2 billion and 74 lac passengers traveled through Dubai's land and sea border

According to the Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, the total number of passengers traveling through Dubai in the first six months of 2019 was 2 billion and 74 lac passengers. Most of them traveled through Dubai's land and sea border. 

Dubai International Airport's 122 smart gate used 5.7 million passengers during this period. Between January 1 and June 30 this year, 9.5 million entry and resident visas were issued in Dubai. 

Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Chief of Staff of the GDRFA Dubai, said: we are prepared to provide better services for travelers traveling through Dubai during the summer holiday season.

This is the season for the largest increase in passenger numbers. Officials said that the department is making good arrangements to provide better services without delays anywhere.

Kera App for taxi 

Taxis will take you to one click, and you will be safely transported to a government-appointed rental. Taxi workers along with owners of Kerala started 'Kera Cabs' service launched on 29/10/2019.

The officials informed that in the press conference about 25,000 taxi workers in Kerala will take advantage of digital technology. This app can be downloaded from Google Play Store. Passengers can find exact availability of taxis. Rent can be paid online and directly to the driver.

Kollam - Nagercoil-Thiruvananthapuram passenger train will start from today on the Kollam-Nagercoil passenger train. Southern Railway Chief Operating Manager Anantaraman informed in a letter that the train service has been extended to Kollam, NK Premachandran MP said. The train will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 8.30 am, the MP said. However, the service has not been announced yet.

Kerala Travel Mart 2020; Preparations have begun, and various plans will be presented 

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Travel Mart has decided to increase the number of tourist arrivals to Kerala by 20 lakh.

Preparations started for travel mart which will held in September 2020 at Kochi. The four-day event will feature representatives from around the world.

The 11th edition of the Kerala Travel Mart, which brings together tourism entrepreneurs, experts, government private agencies and tourists, will begin on September 24 next year. Projects with special emphasis on Responsible Tourism, Eco Tourism and Adventure Tourism are also being ready.
The main aim is to make Kerala the venue for international conventions. Innovative systems are the main attraction. New initiatives such as the Champions Boat League will promote internationally. Kerala Travel Mart will also discuss new opportunities in tourism. 



160 km Speed Train India

NEW DELHI: Indian Railways is planning to run a 160 km speed train to improve infrastructure on busy Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Kolkata routes.
Speaking at the inauguration of the International Rail Conference 2019 and the 13th International Railway Equipment Exhibition, Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav said the Rs 18,000 crore project is being implemented. 

VK Yadav cleared that Delhi will take at least four years to complete the project - Mumbai, Delhi - Kolkata routes on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route running speed of 160 km of the 320 km railway project to the new speed bullet trains in different routes of trains.
The Vande Bharat Express is running at an average speed of 104 km / h. The railway ministry said that improving the infrastructure of the trains at the speed of 160 km / h involves improving fencing, track and signaling, and eliminating unmanned level crossings.

Mr. Yadav said the railways would produce more aluminum coaches and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was ready to review the railway projects.
